The Story

The Abbey Bike Tools Fork Steerer Nut Setter is a wonderfully simple, well-crafted tool designed to make installing a star nut a quick and foolproof job.

It consists of two parts – the outer guide, which slips over your steer tube to keep the driver straight, and the driver itself, which is hit by a hammer to install the star nut. The driver incorporates a hard stop, so it will also act to optimise your install depth.

Use this tool to achieve perfect star nut install in seconds, every time.

  • A simple tool that will make short work of installing a star nut
  • Outer guide keeps the driver straight
  • Driver installs nut to perfect depth in steer tube
  • Compatible with 1 and 1.125″, or 2.54 and 2.86cm, steel and aluminium steer tubes
  • Not suitable for use with carbon steer tubes
  • For use with all threadless headset brands
  • Made in Bend, Oregon
